A Casa da Música é um edifício imponente que fica localizado na Rua da Boavista e que não deixa ninguém indiferente. Este belo espaço cultural dedicado exclusivamente à música foi inaugurado em 2001, precisamente no ano em que a cidade do Porto foi Capital Europeia da Cultura. Este espaço único foi criado pelo arquitecto holandês Rem Koolhaas.
A Casa da Música surpreende pela sua composição, materiais, estrutura e funcionalidades e é composta pela sala suggia, a sala 2, diversas salas de ensaio, a sala cybermúsica, a sala vip e ainda um restaurante e um terraço com uma vista fenomenal sob a cidade.
