Apesar de Nova Iorque ser uma cidade extremamente movimentada é também uma localidade que apresenta inúmeros espaços verdes que são perfeitos para que os cidadãos ou turistas possam parar um pouco, descansar da agitação, respirar ar puro e recuperar energias. Numa das minhas visitas a Manhattan descobri o New York City Hall Park. Como o próprio nome indica este parque fica próximo do New York City Hall - que na altura em que visitamos a cidade estava em obras de recuperação - e é um pequeno mas bem acolhedor parque verde.
Outro parque bastante agradável é o Madison Square Park que fica localizado entre a Quinta Avenida, a Broadway e a 23rd Street. Descobrimos este parque porque enquanto estivemos por Nova Iorque aproveitamos para passear imenso a pé por ruas e ruelas desconhecidas e tivemos a sorte de descobrir mais um belo espaço verde na cidade. Nova Iorque é realmente uma localidade fabulosa que nos surpreende positivamente em cada esquina.
